The 2010 Housing market is off to a great start, with the extension of the $8,000 1st Time Home Buyer Tax Credit and the expansion of the $6,500 Repeat Home Buyer Tax Credit, buyers and seller’s are out in full force.  Where we used to see the Spring market start in mid-February and  add  new listings, we are already seeing many homeowner’s list their homes so that they too can take advantage of the tax credit.  Don’t wait, it is a great time to list!

Median Sales Price December 2009:  $78,000  Up 11.6%

Units Sold December 2009:  271    Down 6.2%

Median Sales Price December 2008:  $197,500

Median Sales Price December 2009:  $190,870 Down 3.4%
