Marion County Trash Schedule 2013/2014

In Marion County, there are two types of trash collection: automatedpick-up (when the truck picks up your can with a mechanical arm) orhand collection (when a crew member manually picks up your can to empty it into the truck).

Trash is collected five days a week between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. On your collection day, be sure to place your trash at the curb or in the alley before 7 a.m. to ensure proper pickup.

Hamilton County Trash Schedule 2013/2014

Due to the holidays, there will be no trash pickup on Wednesday, December 25 and Wednesday, January 1.  During those two weeks, the regular trash pickup schedule for Wednesdays through Fridays will be delayed by one day.  This means that those who regularly have Wednesday pickups will instead have pickups on Thursday, December 26 and Thursday, January 2.  Regular Thursday pickups will instead be on Friday, December 27 and Friday, January 3.  Regular Friday pickups will be on Saturday, December 28 and Saturday, January 4.

Beginning Monday, January 6, Republic Services will then return to its normal pickup schedule.

In addition, Republic Services will pick up Christmas trees from Thursday, December 26 until Friday, January 31, 2014.  Trees will be collected on the same day and in the same location as residents’ trash/recycle collection.
