Home imageThe following is an update on the Lawrence Township housing market for June and July.  Sales have remained level in this 2 month period and there are 232 pending properties as of today.  So it seems the market is turning around.  The $0 – $300,000 price ranges are selling the best with those representing 94% of the sales in July, 96% in June and 95% of the pendings, but there are already 12 pendings in the $300,000+ price range in August so the higher market seems to be picking up also. Most of the sales in the under $300,000 price range can be attributed to first time home buyers taking advantage of the $8000 tax credit.  Remember this tax credit only applies to homes closed by November 30, 2009, so don’t miss it!!   The highest priced home sold in Lawrence Township year to date is 9332 Treasure Point which sold for $1,650,000.
