In this time of great dispare, there are Angels among us! Just the other evening when I was feeling low, I received a call from a friend of mine who sounded shaken.  She and her daughter had been out to run some errands and were on their way home when she saw brake lights in front of her, as she slowed, cautiously approaching the cars that had now pulled to the side of the road, she saw a crumpled mass along the side of the road, it was a person.  She immediately pulled over and ran to the man’s side, he had been struck by a passing car, thus the brake lights.  She removed her coat and placed it over the man’s shaking body, he was alive and she stayed with him, spoke to him and reassured him that help was on it’s way.

As she told me the story, I cried and realized that there are Angels among us, we just don’t always see them for who they are.  At this time of year, I urge you to look around and be thankful for what you have in your life, your family, your friends, your health.  This is a time to be grateful!!
