Kids on vacation, long sunny days, and a whole lot of time – summer is finally here! If you’re looking for something to do this month in and around Fishers, here are some exciting events going on in the area you should keep in mind.
Amp After Dark Concert Series presented by Century 21 Scheetz – Blue Moon Swamp

When: June 19th, 2015, 9:00 pm-11:00 pm

What: Enjoy a date night out in the Nickel Plate District! The AMP After Dark is presented by Century 21 Scheetz and offers dancing under the stars, Fridays, all summer long. Four Day Ray Brewing will be onsite as the exclusive beer vendor, and JJ Winery will be onsite as the exclusive winery.

The Fishers Farmer’s Market

When: June 20th and 27th, 2015, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

What: High quality vendors offering fresh produce, bakery items, honey, specialty food items, meat, coffee and hot food selections. Catch up with friends or enjoy a morning out with the family while perusing the fresh, local offerings. Family friendly special events are also planned throughout the season.

Tuesday Summer Concert Series

When: Tuesdays, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

What: Enjoy a free show! Sponsored by IU Health Saxony, come and enjoy various concerts by lauded groups like the Parrots of the Carribean (June 23rd), the BBI (June 30th), and the Endless Summer Band (July 7th).

Monsoon Madness

When: June 20th, 2015, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

What: Bring your kids to come enjoy a day filled with music, pizza, and water play at the Roy G. Holland Memorial Park.

Summer Solstice Yoga

When: June 21st, 2015, 6: 00 pm – 8:00 pm

What: A free yoga class followed by a picnic. This event is part of “The Longest Day” fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Community Walk

When: June 22nd, 2015, All Day

What: Hosted by the Cardinal Elements, the community walk is a great way to spend the day. It’s free for all ages and levels of walkers, and you get to enter drawings for a prize!
